Signing of MOU for Our Gas Meter Assembly Plant in the Presence of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh

On October 28, 2026, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Tarique Rahman, Prime Minister of Bangladesh, who was visiting Japan, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding our gas meter business was signed.

The MOU concerns the establishment of a gas meter assembly plant in the Bangladesh Special Economic Zone (BSEZ) through a joint venture between a local gas company and our company.

Furthermore, during the summit meeting held the previous day between Prime Minister Rahman and Prime Minister Takaichi, the importance of close cooperation in the energy sector, including the gas meter business we are promoting, was emphasized. This marks a significant step toward the conclusion of a future agreement.

We will continue our efforts to further expand the installation of gas meters and contribute to addressing social challenges in Bangladesh.
