Letter of Intent Presented at the Indonesia–Japan Business and Investment Forum

ONODA Inc. presented a Letter of Intent (LoI) at the Indonesia–Japan Business and Investment Forum, held in Tokyo on May 22, 2026.
The LoI expresses ONODA’s interest in investing in a smart gas meter assembly plant in Indonesia. Through the potential establishment of an assembly plant utilizing Japanese smart gas meter technology, ONODA aims to participate in and contribute to the Indonesian government’s initiative to develop a nationwide gas distribution network for households.
During the LoI presentation session at the forum, following an introduction of ONODA, our Executive Officer joined the following representatives on stage for a commemorative photograph:
- Maria Renata Hutagalung, Minister, Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Japan
- Cahyu Purnomo, Director for East Asia, South Asia, the Middle East and Africa,
Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry / Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM)
- Imaduddin Sahabat, Chief Representative, Bank Indonesia Representative Office in Tokyo
ONODA will continue to pursue the expansion of its business activities in Indonesia.
